Companies Act 2006 & Webfiling Seminars

On October 1st 2009 the Companies Act 2006 updated and modernised the law governing the running of companies. There are a range of new procedures that affect every company operating in the United Kingdom, removing outdated requirements and introducing a number of options on how to run your business efficiently.  

Companies House products and services have also been enhanced as a result of the new Act. The time is right to find out what has changed.

The seminar will cover the background to, and implementation of, the new Act.  It will also include information on how best to use our online filing service, Webfiling, to take advantage of new and future developments.

The aim of the seminar is to:

• Provide the background and aims of the Companies Act 2006
• Focus on the changes to processes and procedures
• Take a look at a selection of the new forms
•  Show you how to file them online

Customers will have the opportunity to:

• Find out more detailed information about key changes introduced by the Act
• Meet the team and talk to Companies House managers in a relaxed forum about any issues you may have
• Find out more about how our products and services have evolved
• Have access to the latest guidance information
